Ridge, NY Ridge, NY Full-time Full-time $28 an hour $28 an hour 11 days ago 11 days ago 11 days ago Facilities Associate Ridge, NY New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a Facilities Associate to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation.
Clinics from Southampton to NYC.
Practice manages a freestanding outpatient 7-day per week Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.
The Facilities Associate will ensure the efficient operation of the NYCBS Ridge location by managing and coordinating the activities of the facility.
Ensure that the NYCBS Ridge location is safe and secure for staff.
Responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the NYCBS Ridge location including, cleanliness, safety and security.
In this role you will:
Responsible for the management of the NYCBS Ridge location, including interaction with outside contractors concerning building construction, HVAC and any other related matters such as cleanliness and safety of the facility and employees.
Review and/or inspect work of outside vendors for quality, accuracy and completeness.
Ensure compliance of all NYCBS locations with applicable federal, OSHA and/or state laws, regulations and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc.
Develop appropriate safety and/or service plans to alleviate risk, provide protection, etc.
for occupants of the NYCBS Ridge location.
Monitor and evaluate operations, programs, processes and/or practices for quality and effectiveness; make recommendations for improvement.
Ensure that snow removal from the outside vendor is adequate (in this position you will need to shovel and clear snow/ice).
Oversee the maintenance of the landscaping.
Perform repairs in and outside of the NYCBS Ridge location.
Order and maintain supplies.
Stock supplies as needed in all offices.
Other duties as assigned.
We require:
High school graduate with good computer and organizational skills required.
Five years of facilities experience.
Excellent communication skills are necessary.
Able to lift heavy objects.
Valid New York State driver's license.
Hours:
Monday-Friday.
Must be flexible with availability (7am - 3:
30pm/8:
30am - 5pm) Salary up to $28 hr.
based on experience.
